Celebration Villa of Lewisburg will celebrate the First Annual Validation Week, August 17–23.

Held in partnership with the Validation Training Institute, the observance recognizes compassion, connection, and person-centered dementia care.

The “Meet Me Where I Am” theme reminds caregivers and families to listen, understand, validate feelings, and meet each person where they are in their journey.

Throughout the week, Celebration Villa of Lewisburg will host activities to honor residents’ life stories and share the benefits of Validation with families and community members.

Validation is part of Priority Life Care’s Along the Journey dementia care philosophy, helping create relationships built on trust, comfort, and connection.
